New Year's Letter

For all who are not on our email list…

“When the mind is quiet, the asana is correct.”

— Sri K. Pattabhi Jois

Happy New Year!

Wishes of peace, happiness, prosperity and health for you and yours in the coming year. May 2014 be filled with goodness!
On New Year’s Day we will celebrate with an all-day festival in the school, chanting the Hanuman Chalisa 108 times, to invoke Hanuman’s blessings of strength, devotion and one-pointed focus of mind. Please feel free to stop by anytime between 8 am and 8 pm to either chant, listen, have some prasad, or just hang out.
There are about 30 spaces left in the Martin Luther King Day retreat (Jan. 17th-20th) – please contact if you would like to join in. It will be a fun weekend of intensive practice, study, and strengthening community ties.
The 12:30 half-primary classes (and the yoga therapy classes) will begin again on Monday, January 6th. Apologies to the three or four people who showed up today!
Yoga theory and Sutra class will meet this Sunday at 11:15. You do not need to have attended earlier classes to join in.
That’s all for now!
