From The Gothamist via @meljanparker (and here) – Thanks, MJP. This is amazing.

Two years after his untimely demise, it’s still difficult to believe that resilient Beastie Boys’ cofounder Adam Yauch, a.k.a. MCA, is no longer with us. Yauch, an inspiration to many for his music, filmmaking, and political activism, succumbed to cancer on May 4th, 2012, in New York City, and is survived by his wife and daughter, who turns 16 this year. In addition to his artistic endeavors, Yauch was also a practicing Buddhist, and this weekend a group of men dressed as monks performed an elaborate breakdance in his honor in Union Square park.
